What's Task Pros?
The TASKPROS service allows users (“TaskPosters“) who need help getting tasks done to request a task completion through the Website or TASKPROS App. as well allows Pros (“ServicePros“) to complete the tasks (the “Service”) requested. In order to access the Service and start posting tasks and accepting to complete posted tasks, you must be a registered user. You can use the Service from a computer or a mobile device if you have downloaded the TASKPROS App. Poster and Pros are collectively referred to as “Users”. TASKPROS simply provides a platform that allows Posters and Pros get served adequately. Accordingly, it is up to TASKPROS to complete any background checks and to verify that any ServicePro on our platform meets our requirements and qualifications.
How the Service Works
a. Posting a Task: If you post a task on the Service, you will be asked to provide certain information pertaining to the task as well as your credit/debit card information.
b. Approval of a Task: Once a task is posted, our algorithm checks that all required information has been submitted by the Poster. If any fields are incomplete, one of our Customer Relations representatives will call to obtain any additional information required. The algorithm will pre-authorize the TaskPoster’s credit/debit card for the full amount payable for a pre-service charge to show commitment. We have the right in our sole discretion to refuse to post or to remove any task from the Service for any reason. Once a task is approved, we will send a pro to the Posters location to confirm, inspect or carryout the task.
c. Assigning of a Task: Tasks are assigned using our algorithm, which searches through our database of active Pros and assigns tasks to available Pros based on criteria including the ServicePro’s skill set, location and rating which are only visible to TASKPROS. Once a task is assigned to a Pro, the Pro will receive a message to call and confirm the time and place for the task. The TaskPoster will also receive a text message and/or email and/or app alerts from us detailing the first name and last initial of the ServicePro available and letting them know to expect a call from the ServicePro. The TaskPoster may call the customer service number if there are any issues.
d. Cancelling\rescheduling a Task: If a task has been assigned to a ServicePro and the TaskPoster cancels the task, the TaskPoster will be charged a 500 Nigerian Naira as cancellation fee, whichever. If the task is rescheduled, then a flat fee of N300 for every change will be charged. TASKPROS reserves the right to waive this under circumstances it seems suitable. Decision of TASKPROS shall be deemed as final.
e. ServicePro Non-Attendance: If a ServicePro fails to show up to perform a task assigned to him/her, TASKPROS has the right to suspend the ServicePro and charge a 100% of the Task value from the ServicePro’s earnings or recover this from him/her through other means in form of cash refund. TASKPROS’ decision will be final.
f. Completion and Billing of a Task: When a task has been completed, the TaskPoster will follow the task completion link we have forwarded by text or email message. The Poster will complete the invoice and sign off that the task has been completed. Once this is done, we will send a text message and/or email and/or app alert to both the TaskPoster and the ServicePro confirming the completion of the task. The ServicePro will receive payment directly in the connected bank account, minus the administrative fee listed in the table below and a payment processing fee charged by TASKPROS. The TaskPoster will be charged an administrative and processing fee as well. Note that the administrative and processing fee is typically N1000 plus the total transaction fee by our payment processing partners.
